Daffodils English Academy,Ramganj, is run by Ramganj Ambika Educational Society. The management envisions the nurturing of a strong community of future- ready citizens and leaders of tomorrow maintaining a delicate balance between traditional values and modern ethos.

Message from The Principal

Life is a gift that must be enjoyed; it is a test that must be taken; it is a trust that must be maintained. The whole point of education is self-realization and self-knowledge. The school is a child's Alma Mater or foster mother. Having said that, it is the responsibility of the school to prepare the child for the life ahead; instill the right blend of attitude, values and skills in the child so that she/he can face the challenges of real life without deterring from the right path. We believe in grooming the child into a complete and balanced personality. We believe in making life a success rather than just being successful in life. Securing good marks and grades at assessments is just one small aspect of the development of a child. The cultivation of a global outlook, love for nature and concern for humanity are integral components of educational aims.
At DAFFODILS ENGLISH ACADEMY it is our aim not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate our students to be rational and critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society. We constantly work to develop a sense of discipline and good moral character, where all students are expected to conform to high disciplinary standards and to develop values of tolerance, fair play, compassion, integrity, and fortitude and courage.
At Daffodils, we believe that classroom learning is not sufficient to make a child excel in life; therefore we aim to provide students with learning beyond academics, by developing talents through an emphasis on extra-curricular activities and life skills.
Our curriculum is broad and balanced and provides for the academic, moral, physical, creative and personal and social development of every child. Our approach to teaching and learning is child-centric, encouraging activity-based learning and inculcating a scientific spirit of free enquiry. In our curriculum, the pupil is the primary focus, and each child is involved in the learning process. The purpose of the education received by our pupils is to replace an empty mind with an open one.
We try to constantly improve our teaching methodology so that it turns learning into a combination of classroom study, research, and scientific discovery. Our teachers encourage each child to develop in their special field of interest so as to best showcase their particular type of talent and grow to their full potential, and constantly groom them to pass out as men and women competent to bear responsibility in all walks of life.
Our educational philosophy is centred on praise, encouragement, enthusiasm, and affection, rather than criticism, fear, and punishment. We not only appreciate our pupils on their success but also embrace them when they fail.
We have created an environment to enable children of all ages to fulfil their potential while developing into well mannered, well groomed, independent and inter-dependent individuals with high self-esteem.
Teachers are the heart of the academic program and DAFFODILS is committed to have motivated and trained teachers. We understand that a teacher introduces the learners to success. At DAFFODILS we have an excellent team of professional and highly-qualified faculty who are determined to enlighten the lives of our learners. Passionate, creative and innovative individuals with excellent communication skills and fire in their belly, the teachers are partners in the progress of pupils and the school at large. Regular updates help them keep pace with the new trends and teaching methodologies to aid the learning of children and promote Higher Order Thinking Skills. Teachers are facilitators who guide pupils with inspiration and motivation.
The school also aims to emphasize the importance of collaboration between parents and the school so that all parents are actively involved in their children's education.

Director’s Message

Success comes to those who work hard and stays with those, who don’t rest on the laurels of the past."
We live today in a world that is so very different from the one we grew up in, the one we were educated in. The world today is changing at such an accelerated rate and we as educators need to pause and reflect on this entire system of Education. Are our schools well equipped to prepare our children to face the challenges that the future holds?
Questions such as these are factors that motivate us to go through a continuous process of reflection and hence we at DEA work at implementing a well balanced curriculum to ensure that the children who walk into the portals of our Schools will not just love their school years but truly be prepared to face life’s challenges.
It was Margaret Mead who said “Children must be taught how to think, not what to think,” and to enable this, our motto of Knowledge, Imagination and Innovation is encouraged through a holistic approach. "TO MOTIVATE THE WEAK, TO ADDRESS THE AVERAGE AND CHALLENGE THE GIFTED" is the teaching method of our school.
Aristotle once said that, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” Even as we impart education to match the advancement in technology and globalization, we march our children ahead with DEA’ ethos of moral values and principles. We endeavour constantly to instill these qualities in our children. We pride ourselves to help them grow and develop into sensitive and responsible citizens of the next generation.
